This means that your donations to ACDC are not tax deductible at this time. If the IRS eventually grants us 501(c)(3) status, your donations will become tax deductible retroactively. Once we receive a decision from the IRS, we will notify you by email of the decision and its implications for you. The IRS may take 9-12 months to issue a decision (1023 form submitted 10/08/2024). Currently, donations will be used to reimburse startup expenses, secure project funding, and pay staff.
